In TEATRO HABITADO_

Estreno de IMPERIO, una coproducción de Teatro Habitado, Colectivo Zoológico y Manonegra.

El 19 de diciembre de 2016, las cámaras que cubrían la inauguración de la exposición fotográfica Rusia en los ojos de los turcos, captaron como un joven policía turco asesinaba al embajador ruso en el Museo de arte contemporáneo de Ankara.

En febrero del año siguiente el fotógrafo Burhan Ozbilici, ganaría el World Press Photo gracias a la imagen que inmortaliza el momento. Entrevistado al día siguiente del hecho declaró: ‘Estaba en shock y al principio pensé que se trataba de una puesta en escena teatral’.

A partir de este hecho, Teatro Habitado (España), Colectivo Zoológico (Chile) y Manonegra (México) presentan IMPERIO, obra que nos invita a reflexionar sobre la fascinación contemporánea por las imágenes y su relación con la violencia y el poder en la sociedad occidental.

Esta coproducción, con el apoyo de Iberescena a través de la línea Ayudas a la Coproducción de espectáculos Iberoamericanos de Artes Escénicas en su convocatoria de 2018, reúne a artistas españoles, chilenos, franceses y mexicanos, quienes se adentran en la compleja interrelación que supone imagen, ficción y realidad, en un mundo hiperconectado, donde las imágenes se transmiten de manera instantánea a todos los rincones del Imperio.

Esta obra es resultado de una residencia financiada por el Ministerio de las Culturas, las Artes y el Patrimonio, a través de Fondart, y cuenta con la colaboración del Ayuntamiento de Mairena del Alcor y Vivacable.

Vídeo resumen de EMERGENTES 2018.

EMERGENTES 2018 – 7º Encuentro Internacional de Jóvenes Creadores en las Artes Escénicas se celebró del 26 al 29 de julio.

Tras recibir 450 propuestas para participar desde 31 países diferentes, EMERGENTES 2018 vino cargado de 14 representaciones a cargo de 12 compañías que se programaron en 10 escenarios diferentes y que contaron con artistas y compañías llegadas desde Chile, Bélgica, Suiza, Italia, Grecia, Brasil y España. También destacó la grabación del cortometraje titulado ‘Mis pequeños amores’, una co-producción a cargo de La Copia Feliz Producciones (Chile) y Teatro Habitado, bajo la dirección de Sebastián Pereira. ‘Un Paseo por la Memoria’ fue una exposición fotográfica que nos invitó a viajar por los recuerdos del Paseo de la Feria Antigua, y la Casa Palacio de los Duques de Arcos albergó la instalación ‘The Ronald Project’, de los artistas Alejandro Carrillo (México) y José María Paredes (Sevilla).

Las compañías participantes fueron Silere (Chile/España), Les Vikings (Bélgica), Unplush (Suiza), Teatro de Poniente (Madrid), Kinesis Contemporary Dance Company (Italia), La Ejecutura – Teatro A pelo (Sevilla), Danae Dimitriadi & Dionysios Alamanos (Grecia), SilencioDanza (Málaga), Cía. MafiaRosa (Chile), Fundación Agrupación Colectiva (Barcelona), Colectivo LaMajara (España/Brasil) y Coletivo Mona (Brasil).

#Emergentes7 fue fruto de la colaboración de Teatro Habitado y el Ayuntamiento de Mairena del Alcor, y contó con el apoyo de la Diputación de Sevilla, el Instituto Andaluz de la Juventud, Cultura Viva – Fundación Cruzcampo y Vivacable.

EMERGENTES RECIBE EL PREMIO PROGRESO.

Ayer se hizo público el fallo del jurado de la XI Edición del Premio Progreso, un reconocimiento promovido por la Federación Andaluza de Municipios y Provincias y la Fundación para el Desarrollo de los Pueblos de Andalucía. Estos premios tienen como objetivo reconocer la iniciativa, originalidad e innovación de los proyectos desarrollados por los gobiernos locales, que contribuyen al bienestar de la ciudadanía de su territorio.

EMERGENTES, proyecto fruto de la colaboración entre Teatro Habitado y el Ayuntamiento de Mairena del Alcor, ha obtenido el galardón en la modalidad de ‘Cultura, patrimonio histórico y memoria democrática’ para municipios de más de 20.000 habitantes. El acto de entrega tendrá lugar en Córdoba en el mes de diciembre.

Desde EMERGENTES, que está próximo a lanzar la convocatoria pública de espectáculos para la octava edición, queremos aprovechar la ocasión que nos brinda este galardón para agradecer a todas las compañías participantes, al público que nos arropa, a las instituciones y entidades que nos apoyan, así como a las manos y al cariño que nos prestan todas las personas que hacen posible este Encuentro.

LA CASA DE LA PROVINCIA ACOGE LA PRESENTACIÓN DE EMERGENTES.

El pasado martes 26 de junio tuvo lugar en la Casa de la Provincia la presentación de la 7ª edición de EMERGENTES – Encuentro Internacional de Jóvenes Creadores en las Artes Escénicas. En el acto intervinieron José Manuel Navarro en representación de Teatro Habitado; el artista mexicano Alejandro Carrillo como autor por tercer año consecutivo de la imagen del Encuentro; la Diputada Provincial de Cultura y Ciudadanía, Rocío Sutil; y como representantes del Ayuntamiento de Mairena del Alcor, su Alcalde, Ricardo Sánchez, y la Delegada de Cultura, Gloria Rodríguez.

Desde que el verano de 2012 nos viera nacer, EMERGENTES ha ido colándose en las agendas de espectadores y compañías para convertirse en un festival referente del verano andaluz. Seguimos apostando por promover y visibilizar trabajos de jóvenes creadores nacionales e internacionales, tejiendo redes de trabajo que germinan en nuestra localidad y se expanden por todo el mundo, ayudando a afianzar sus carreras artísticas. Al mismo tiempo, renovamos año a año nuestro compromiso con Mairena, reforzando nuestra identidad como pueblo y nuestra memoria colectiva, en esta ocasión a través de un cortometraje co-producido por La Copia Feliz Producciones (Chile) y Teatro Habitado, así como una exposición en la que el Paseo de la Feria Antigua será protagonista.

Tras recibir 450 propuestas para participar desde 31 países diferentes, EMERGENTES 2018 viene cargado de 14 representaciones a cargo de 12 compañías que se programarán en 10 escenarios diferentes y que contarán con artistas y compañías llegadas desde Chile, Bélgica, Suiza, Italia, Grecia, Brasil y España. Desde el lunes 23 de julio hasta el domingo 29, podremos disfrutar de grandes compañías que dejarán su impronta en Mairena. Un año más nuestro pueblo se convierte en un hervidero de creación joven que llega a los rincones más atractivos del municipio.

UN PREMIO BUERO, ‘FAKE’ Y EL ENCUENTRO ‘MUJERES DE PUEBLO’ CIERRAN EL CURSO 17/18.

El curso 2017/2018 de Teatro Habitado está dando sus últimos pasos, y estos serán protagonizados por las alumnas y alumnos del grupo de adultos y del Laboratorio Juvenil Avanzado de Formación Escénica. El último estreno del año, FAKE. Muestra de creaciones unipersonales, podrá verse los días 1 y 3 de julio en la Casa Palacio de los Duques de Arcos, a las 22:00 horas.

FAKE, proyecto que cuenta con la dirección general de Juan José Morales ‘Tate’, es una muestra de creaciones unipersonales donde cada alumno/a ha creado una instalación viva, escribiendo un texto original o adaptando un texto clásico, haciéndose cargo de la dirección, la puesta en escena, la escenografía y la interpretación.

El día 1 de julio los intérpretes serán Juan Manuel Castro, Raúl Collantes, María Méndez, Julio Ortega y Rosario Jiménez; mientras que el 3 será el turno para Cristina Mateos, Ana Moreno, Carlota Moreno, Nuria Pérez, Ana Pérez y Claudia Roca.

La entrada a la Casa Palacio se efectuará por la C/Real, siendo libre hasta completar aforo.

Estas funciones servirán para celebrar el reciente galardón obtenido por este grupo en los Premios Buero de Teatro Joven, en los que Un Bel di Vedremo ha recibido la mención especial del jurado andaluz a la Mejor Propuesta Escénica y Mejor Puesta en Escena en una edición en la que se han batido los registros de este concurso con 379 grupos inscritos y en los que Andalucía ha sido la segunda comunidad autónoma en número de propuestas presentadas.

Una semana antes de estas citas, el grupo de adultos de Teatro Habitado participará en Mujeres de Pueblo. 1er Encuentro de Teatro Aficionado de Los Alcores, que se celebrará el sábado 23 de junio y que contará con la participación de grupos llegados desde Alcalá de Guadaíra, Arahal, Carmona y del pueblo anfitrión.

Mujeres de pueblo, una jornada de convivencia teatral que quiere resaltar el papel de la Mujer en la escena amateur, supondrá una nueva oportunidad de ver en escena Esa obra de la que usted me habla, espectáculo recientemente estrenado bajo la dirección de Silvia Beaterio. El grupo mairenero será el primero en mostrar su trabajo a las 12:15 horas.

UN PASEO POR LA MEMORIA -Calling-.

Collective exhibition on the Paseo de la Feria Antigua.

To rescue the popular memory and the history of the Paseo de la Feria Antigua, Teatro Habitado and the City Hall of Mairena del Alcor, within the framework of EMERGENTES – 7th International Meeting of Young Creators in the Performing Arts, invites the Maireneras and Maireneras to send your family or personal photographs taken in this Walk, for the assembly of an exhibition.

We would like to tell the story of a Walk that has been fundamental in the history of our town, walked by all and through the photographs of the town, for which we accept any graphic document of the space (it does not matter year, it does not matter situation; we value the variety of times).

With the selected proposals we will mount an exhibition whose inauguration will take place on July 27 in the same Paseo. In the previous days and with the participants who sent their photograph, a story will be constructed that will tell the story and can be heard at the inauguration. There is no limit per participant.

The call will remain open from April 18 to May 30.

Bases:

1. Each participant can send the photographs they consider, without limit.

2. The reception of photographs will begin on April 18 and will end on May 30, 2018.

4. The photographs, if they are finally selected for exhibition, will have to have good quality, preferably in JPG or PDF format.

5. Once the photographs have been selected, we will contact the participants for a brief interview about the history of photography, with the possibility of participating more actively in the exhibition.

PRESENTATION OF THE IMAGE OF EMERGENTS 2018.

When just over three months to a new edition of EMERGENTES, we present the new image that will announce this event at the end of July.

For the third consecutive year, the graphic design of this Encounter is in the hands of the Mexican artist Alejandro Carrillo, who on this occasion has been inspired by Murillo’s still lifes for his composition.

‘Playing with the re-interpretation of these concepts that appear in the still lifes, I made a series of them with particular objects, natural elements, all in a space of harmony, in a meeting of contrasts, conflicts and art’. Thanks Alejandro on behalf of the entire EMERGENTES family for letting us count on your creativity and talent!

MASTERCLASS DURING THE UNIFESTIVAL.

As usual in UNIFESTIVAL, training will occupy a central place in the programming of this new edition. Acullá’s dramaturgy emerges from a dream experiment: the recording of dreams for the creation of scenes. In this workshop, the method created by the actor will be explained to the attendees and the process of constructing specific moments of the work will be discussed based on this oneiric record. At the end, the attendees will play to create scenes from the dream material they provide for the occasion. The objective, beyond the scenic creation is the observation and analysis of symbols of the unconscious.

Essential requirement to participate in the master class: bring a dream written on a paper. A dream chosen with care. The most detailed possible.

The Actor-dancer: walking towards the interpreter.

Dance and theater expand their domains. There is no border, limit or dogma that has been revealed as insufficient or useless. The dancer and the actor, more than ever, need to broaden their vision and demonstrate an active and flexible, integral thought.

The line that separates these two interpreters today is extremely close and both need to drink from the expressiveness and scenic presence of the other. Without distinction, the corporal work of both disciplines travels the same paths.

The projection of the body and the management of the silences, as well as the exhaustive corporal technique and the freedom of movement.

This event emerged with the vocation of being an exhibition space for creative processes born of young creators, adding to the line of work that has been developing since 2011 in Mairena del Alcor with Emergentes – International Meetings of Young Creators in the Performing Arts and the Municipal School of Performing Arts Inhabited Theater.

A meeting place where different young companies can share their work, their processes, their concerns, their vision of the theater and the transcendence with their social and personal reality through their specific shows and master classes. During the three days of the festival, the companies, the public and theater students will be able to enjoy an intense activity.

In addition to the performances of the participating shows, the training will have a key place in the programming; Each company will give a workshop on some of the concepts developed in the research process of their show.

UNIFESTIVAL aspires to be a boost for young emerging companies, with strong creative processes and that do not always find spaces to exhibit their proposals and their scenic languages outside of precariousness.

In this edition, UNIFESTIVAL will host for the first time three premieres. Lose shows and participating companies will be:

‘Sylvia Plath is a regular woman’, from Teatro en el Mar (Seville).

450 proposals aspire to Emergentes 2018.

The 450 proposals are reached, a third more than last year.
Companies from 29 countries participate in the call.
EMERGENTES 2018 will take place from July 26 to 29 in Mairena del Alcor.

The seventh edition of EMERGENTES – International Meeting of Young Creators in the Performing Arts closed on February 28 the deadline for the reception of proposals in order to configure this year’s programming. The result has been more than 450 proposals received, once again beating all the records of this call, increasing by almost a third the number of candidatures of the previous edition.

If we break down the candidacies by their place of origin, Spain is at the top with 170 proposals from 32 provinces, highlighting in number Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia. Mexico is the next country on the list with 46 applications, Colombia with 44, Argentina with 40, Chile with 29 and Brazil with 19, these are the countries that show the greatest interest in Emergents. The other countries from where we have received requests for participation are Italy, Portugal, Poland, Ecuador, France, United Kingdom, Uruguay, Costa Rica, Germany, Guatemala, Venezuela, Panama, Belgium, Switzerland, Bolivia, Peru, Cuba, Senegal, Greece, Austria, Iran, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.

Pieces of contemporary dance, documentary theater, puppets, cabaret, musical theater, flamenco, children’s theater, circus, gestural theater, vertical dance, musical proposals, perfopoesía, shadow theater, performances or butoh dance assure us that the seventh edition of this Encuentro , which will be held in Mairena del Alcor from July 26 to 29, will be marked by the diversity of styles and themes, as well as a very high quality.

Maireneros of the Year Award for EMERGENTES.

Emergentes – International Meetings of Young Creators in Performing Arts receives the Maireneros del Año Award in the category of Culture and Education 2018.

On 27 February, as a prelude to the Day of Andalusia, Emergentes was awarded the Maireneros of the Year Award for his work to show the most modern and modern face of the municipality, making it a benchmark for the Performing Arts and young creation to world level.

The prize was collected by the Director of Production of Emergents, José Manuel Navarro, highlighting in his speech that Emergentes has become a project that belongs to the town of Mairena, with an economic and social impact that goes further, and showing the willingness Absolute Theater Habitat to continue working as until now in the search for new sources of funding to grow the event.

In TEATRO HABITADO_

Teatro Habitado will participate in ART-DTTÓ.

The Inhabited Theater School will be present from 19 to 21 March at the Teatro Alameda in Seville in ‘ART-DTTÓ. II Days Performing Arts Education. Teatro Habitado will bring to these days a fragment of the show ‘Un Bel di Vedremo’, interpreted by the Scenic Research Laboratory of our School. For his part, Juan José Morales Acosta ‘Tate’ will participate in a Debate and Reflection Table about the current situation of youth in relation to the Theater.

Young Talent Seal for EMERGENTES.

INJUVE (Institute of Youth of Spain) awards the TALENT YOUNG label to Emergents – International Meeting of Young Creators in the Performing Arts for its impulse to young creation, the promotion of the activity of young creators, the promotion and diffusion of their works and their incorporation into the professional field.

This stamp is a recognition of the work done by Emergentes since 2012, enabling the development of the talent of young people from more than twenty countries that have already participated in any of the six editions held to date.
