Festival of Performing Arts Unipersonal

It was born in 2016 with the intention of being a new space for the exhibition of unipersonal creative processes born of young creators, adding to the line of work that has been developing for years in Mairena del Alcor with Emergentes – International Encounters of Young Creators in the Performing Arts and the Municipal School of Performing Arts Inhabited Theater.

A meeting place where different young companies can share their work, their processes, their concerns, their vision of the theater and the transcendence with their social and personal reality through their specific shows and master classes. During the days of the festival, the companies, the public and theater students can enjoy intense activity. In addition to the performances of the participating shows, the training has a key place in the programming; Each company gives a workshop on some of the concepts developed in the research process of their show.

UNIFESTIVAL aspires to be a boost for young emerging companies, with strong creative processes and that do not always find spaces to exhibit their proposals and their scenic languages outside of precariousness.
